Monochrome Editorial

Client: Vestoj · Editorial

A ten-look black-and-white story exploring texture and silhouette, published in Vestoj Issue 14.

Black and white fashion editorial — model in structured monochrome coat

<p>The Monochrome Editorial was commissioned by Vestoj as a ten-look story with a single constraint: no colour in the frame — not in the clothes, the set, or post-production. The Marlowe & Vale team built a set in a decommissioned print-works in East London, working with the building's existing light and a collection of vintage BW fabrics sourced specifically for the project.</p><p>Art direction by the brand's in-house team; photography by Tom Saater. The resulting ten spreads ran in Vestoj Issue 14 and have since been exhibited at the Fashion Space Gallery, London. Three of the ten pieces were subsequently commissioned for production by clients who saw them in print.</p>
