Spring St Trench

• Drafted from a 1962 archive pattern; updated proportions for a softer shoulder.

Full (47") sits just above the knee on a 5’9 frame — the archive proportion. The right length for full-length skirts and dresses, and for layering over a wool trouser. Removable belt and rear vent.

Cropped (32") hits at the high hip — the same drafting, scaled. A more pared-back silhouette that reads as outerwear without the formality of the full length. Pairs especially well with the Houston denim and Mercer trouser.

Sized to layer. The trench is drafted to wear over a Hudson cashmere or a Greene blazer without pulling. If you are between sizes or planning to wear over a tee, our fit team suggests sizing down. The model is 5’9 and wears the M in the full length.

Sleeve length is generous by design. The atelier will set cuffs to your inseam at no charge, on either length.

Shell: 60% wool / 40% cotton gabardine, 12 oz, woven by Abraham Moon & Sons in West Yorkshire on the same mill that has been weaving since 1837. Half-back lining in 100% cupro; piped at every internal seam. Hardware: solid brass roller buckle, gunmetal D-rings, corozo-nut buttons sealed clear.
