Runs true to size, slightly generous through the hip.If you are between sizes, our fit team recommends sizing down. The model is 5’9 and wears the M (waist 27, hip 38). Inseam is a full 31" — designed to be hemmed to your preferred length in the atelier at no charge.
100% European flax linen, 14 oz, milled at Solbiati & Co.in Lombardy, Italy. Garment-washed in our atelier for the softened hand. Care: machine wash cold, line dry, warm iron.

These have replaced every other pair of trousers in my closet. The drape on the wide leg is exactly what the editorial shots promise — and the hand-finished hem looks better the more I wear them. I had the atelier shorten the inseam an inch and it was done in twenty minutes.
I sized down on the advice of the atelier and they were right — the fit is generous through the hip. The linen softens beautifully after the first wash, and the bone color reads closer to ivory than yellow under daylight.
Lovely cut, sumptuous fabric. My one gripe: I wish they came in a petite inseam. I'm 5'3 and had to have them hemmed by the atelier (free, which is its own argument for buying here, but worth flagging).
Wore them to a wedding in Sag Harbor and didn't think about them once — the linen breathes, the rise sits high enough to belt, and the pleats hold their crease through a full day. Returns are easy; I won't be needing it.

Every pair of Atelier trousers is drafted on Greene Street, sampled in our SoHo studio, and sewn within sixteen blocks of the atelier in the Garment District. Production runs are limited to 160 units per colorway. If they sell out, they rarely return in the same fabric.
